The small code that solves the timezone problem
A Discord timestamp has three parts: t identifies a timestamp, the number is Unix time in seconds, and the final letter chooses the display format.
<t:1792521000:f>Example: this code represents October 20, 2026 at 18:30 UTC.
Choose the right format
Use f for a date and time, F when the weekday helps, or R for a countdown. The t and T formats only show time. The d and D formats only show the date. The s and S formats combine a compact date with time.
Your event time and their local time
Set the event’s source timezone before copying. A reader in Tokyo and a reader in New York receive the same instant, displayed in their own local time. Changing the preview timezone does not change the generated code.
Know what it does
Timestamps display a time. They do not schedule messages, create server events, send notifications, or supply a live second-by-second countdown. This tool never needs your Discord token.
